General

All the JSutils calculators install their files to a very limited number of places making it relatively easy to check if a program has been completely removed by uninstall. Neither the installer or the program write to the registry or modify any system files other than the installer registering that an installation has been completed. This gives the uninstall details in Control Panel. All configuration information is stored in a configuration file.

Checking Uninstall Successful

Program

Navigate to the Program Files directory (normally c:\Program Files)

  • If you have more than one piece of JSutils software check that the JSutils directory does not have a directory of the same name as the program. If the directory does exist delete it, note you may have to remove the contents first before the computer will allow you to remove the directory.
  • If this is was the only piece of JSutils software check that there is no JSutils directory. If the directory does exist delete it, note you may have to remove the contents first before the computer will allow you to remove the directory.
