DESCRIPTION
Monitors network connections and optionally shuts down local and or remote computers if the network connection is lost. It can be started either manually, on start up or automatically via the Windows Task Scheduler. The program activates a preset period after starting and shuts down a preset period after shutdown is initiated unless shutdown is cancelled. By default the slave program runs in the System Tray.
The network connection and many other parameters can be configured via the configuration screen, see the configuration screen for details of the parameters and their limits. Shutdown, PowerOff and Rebbot have been configured to force all running applications to close. The program operates by interrogating each remote computer twice a second. Up to four remote computers can be monitored with shutdown being initiated on specified computers when connection to specified computers is lost.
This program requires a registration code to run. This code, which is free for personal non commercial use, can be obtained from www.jsutils.com
