Which Operating Systems Does EnCalcOU Support?
EnCalcOU is designed to work on WIndows 2000 Service Pack 4, Windows XP including Service Packs 1, 2 and 3, WIndows Vista including Service Packs 1 and 2 and Windows 7 including Service Pack 1. Windows NT, 95, 98 & ME are NOT
supported.
Does EnCalcOU Work On Both 32bit And 64 bit Operating Systems?
EnCalcOU is a 32 bit executable that is compatible with both 32 bit and 64 bit operating systems.
Are There Any Issues Using EnCalcOU on WIndows Vista Or Windows 7 With User Account Control Turned On?
There are no known issues when UAC is enabled on Vista.
Can EnCalcOU Be Installed Over An Existing Version?
Yes, In most cases there are no problems installing over the top
of an existing installation. To keep the default
settings do not allow the configuration file to be overwritten
when prompted. The only exceptions is when
downgrading to an earlier version of the program,
in this case uninstall the old program first.
EnCalcOU Does Not Work For The Way My Supplier Charges Me.
If EnCalcOU doesn't work for the way you are charged for oil we would like to hear from you with a description of the problem and your suppliers web site address. Contact us via the web site.
EnCalcOU Does Not Work For My Tanks.
If EnCalcOU doesn't work the because the shape of your tank is not available in the program we would like to hear from you. Contact us via the web site.
What Currencies Has EnCalcOU Been Tested With?
UK Pounds (£), US Dollars ($) and Euros (
€). It should work OK with other currencies.
How Accurate Is The CO2 Conversion Factor?
The conversion factor is a compromise since the actual
figure is dependent on the efficiency of the boiler amongst other things. This factor can be changed from the main
screen if required to suit particular circumstances.
Why Doesn't The Save Defaults Button Work?
The Save Defaults button will only work if the program is run by
a user with administrative privileges.
Why Doesn't EnCalcOU Calculate Costs?
Costs will only be calculated if the Get Last button is used and the instructions for 'First Use' have been followed.
How Do I Check The Digital Signature Of A File
Right click on the file, select properties and the digital signature tab. Select the signer name and click on Details. You will then be able to access details of the certificate and timestamp. Only executable files are signed. If the digital signature tab does not exist the file is not signed.
How Much Memory Does The Program Use?
This is dependent on the operating system and program state but will be around 6MB.
How Much Disk Space Does EnCalcOU Need?
Around 2.25MB including space for a large log file - the program takes up 1.65MB.
