The program generates a log file to store the results of calculations. If the log file is deleted or becomes corrupted a new one will be created the next time the program is started. The log file shows the program name and version at start up. The results log file is called EnCalcL.log and can be found in the programs log directory (normally c:\Program Files\JSutils\EnCalcL\Log), it can be viewed and if required edited using any suitable text editor such as Notepad (do not use work processing programs such as Microsoft Word). Ensure that word wrapping is off when viewing the log file to stop any strange effects due to word wrapping with narrow windows. An example results log file is shown below.

Archived results log files are stored in the same directory as the main results log file using the file naming convention EnCalcL_<year><month><day>_z.log where z is a number starting at 1 allowing multiple files to be archived on a single day.
