EnCalcL uses the following formulae to calculate the results:

Inflation Multiplier A = (1 + Inflation/ 100)Payback Period

Inflation Multiplier B = (1 + Inflation/ 100) + (1 + Inflation/ 100)2 + . . . . . . . . . . + (1 + Inflation/ 100)Payback Period

Item 1 Water Cost per Day = ( ( (Item 1 Use per Day * Number Times Use per Day) * (Water Volume Cost / 1000) ) * (100 * VAT) / 100 ) * Inflation Multiplier A

Item 1 Sewerage Cost per Day = ( ( (Item 1 Use per Day * Number Times Use per Day) * (Sewerage Volume Cost / 1000) * (100 - (Sewerage Volume Allowance / 100) ) ) * (100 * VAT) / 100) * Inflation Multiplier A

Item 2 Water Cost per Day = ( ( (Item 2 Use per Day * Number Times Use per Day) * (Water Volume Cost / 1000) ) * (100 * VAT) / 100 ) * Inflation Multiplier A

Item 2 Sewerage Cost per Day = ( ( (Item 2 Use per Day * Number Times Use per Day) * (Sewerage Volume Cost / 1000) * (100 - (Sewerage Volume Allowance / 100) ) ) * (100 * VAT) / 100 ) * Inflation Multiplier A

Item Cost per Day = Item Water Cost per Day + Item Sewerage Cost per Day + (Item Cost / (Payback Period * 365))

Item Cost per Quarter = Total Item Cost per Day * 365 / 4

Item Cost Over Payback Period = ( (Item Water Cost per Day + Item Sewerage Cost per Day) / Inflation Multiplier A * 365) * Inflation Multiplier B + Item Cost

Saving per Day = Item 1 Cost per Day - Item 2 Cost per Day

Saving per Quarter = Item 1 Cost per Quarter - Item 2 Cost per Quarter

Saving Over Payback Period = Item 1 Cost over Payback Period - Item 2 Cost over Payback Period

Note 1: VAT is not applied to Item1 or Item 2 cost.
Note 2: If the currency selected is not UK Pounds (£) or Euros ( €) then VAT is changed to TAX.
Note 3: Inflation is added for each payback period year.
