Key Features

Calculates the running cost of water appliances

Compares two appliances under the same or different conditions

Calculates cost and water used

Calculates cost and water saved

Works with different payback times

Maintains a record of all calculations

Calculations can include inflation

EnCalcL calculates the real cost of purchasing and running water using appliances, allowing items to be compared under different operating conditions, or enables the true cost of one item to be worked out simply, this includes the amount of water used and can allow for annual inflation. The results can be saved to a log file for later analysis. Variables such as water use, number of uses per day and investment cost can be independently varied for 2 items for specified payback times and water cost to work out the true total cost. See the log file and screen shot for examples of use.

Installation is simple just unzip the installer from the downloaded file, double click on the installer and follow the on screen instructions, shortcuts are installed for all users. As well as installing the program this will also install the help pages. EnCalcL can be safely installed over previous installations but it will need the water data re-entering if the configuration file is overwritten. The existing configuration file will be copied to EnCalcL.old. Start the program and enter the registration code to begin using EnCalcL. The program needs administrator privileges to install it. When upgrading do not allow the installer to overwrite the configuration file when prompted to retain previously saved water data values.
