Which Operating Systems Does EnCalcGU Support?
EnCalcGU is designed to work on WIndows 2000 Service Pack 4, Windows XP including Service Packs 1, 2 and 3, WIndows Vista including Service Packs 1 and 2 and Windows 7 including Service Pack 1. Windows NT, 95, 98 & ME are NOT
supported.
Does EnCalcGU Work On Both 32bit And 64 bit Operating Systems?
EnCalcGU is a 32 bit executable that is compatible with both 32 bit and 64 bit operating systems.
Are There Any Issues Using EnCalcGU on WIndows Vista And Windows 7 With User Account Control Turned On?
There are no known issues when UAC is enabled on Vista and Windows 7.
Can EnCalcGU Be Installed Over An Existing Version?
There are no known problems installing over the top
of an existing installation. To keep the default settings
do not allow the configuration file to be overwritten when prompted. The existing configuration file will be
copied to EnCalcGU.old. The only exception is when
downgrading to an earlier version of the program,
in this case uninstall the old program first.
EnCalcGU Does Not Work For The Way My Supplier Charges Me.
If EnCalcGU doesn't work for the way you are charged for gas we would like to hear from you with a description of the problem and your suppliers web site address. Contact us via the web site.
How Do I Use EnCalcGU With Gas Meters That Work in 100s Of Cubic Feet
Checking the Cubic Feet tick box which will set the appropriate conversion factors.
What Currencies Has EnCalcGU Been Tested With?
UK Pounds (£), US Dollars ($) and Euros (
€). It should work OK with other currencies.
How Accurate Is The CO2 Conversion Factor?
The conversion factor is a compromise since the actual
figure is dependent on the mix of gas used which in practice will vary due to the calorific value and the efficiency of the appliances. This factor can be changed from the main
screen if required to suit particular circumstances.
Why Doesn't The Save Data Button Work?
The Save Data button will only work if the program is run by
a user with administrative privileges.
How Do I Check The Digital Signature Of A File
Right click on the file, select properties and the digital signature tab. Select the signer name and click on Details. You will then be able to access details of the certificate and timestamp. Only executable files are signed. If the digital signature tab does not exist the file is not signed.
How Much Memory Does The Program Use?
This is dependent on the operating system and program state but will be around 6MB.
How Much Disk Space Does EnCalcGU Need?
Around 2.2MB including space large log files - the program takes up 1.6MB.
