DESCRIPTION
EnCalcE calculates the cost of purchasing and running electrical appliances, allowing 2 alternative items to be compared under the same running conditions, this includes the difference in CO2 generation and allows for annual inflation. The results can be saved to a log file for later analysis. EnCalcE is part of the JSutils group of software utilities which have a theme of energy conservation.

This program requires a registration code to run. This code, which is free for personal non commercial use, can be obtained from www.jsutils.com

OPERATING SYSTEMS
Windows 2000, Windows XP/2003 and Windows Vista. It is not suitable for Windows 95, 98, ME or NT.

INSTALLATION
You need administrator privileges to install this program.

Make sure an existing copy of EnCalcE is not running.

Unzip the installer EnCalcE.exe from the downloaded file EnCalcE.zip

Run the installer EnCalcE.exe and follow the on screen instructions.

If you are upgrading over a previous version you will be given the opportunity to keep existing settings by not overwriting the configuration file.

There is no need to uninstall a previous version.

UNINSTALL
To uninstall EnCalcE use Windows Add/Remove Programs. If you wish to retain any files copy them to a temporary location before uninstalling. All program files and directories in the program root directory (normally c:\program files\JSutils\EnCalcE\) are removed including those created by the program.
