AllOff monitors the mouse, keyboard, CPU load and download activity and initiates computer shutdown if there has been no activity for the set times. It supports fixed activation and shutdown initiation times plus a fixed delay before shutdown initiation. There is also an optional fixed delay before shutdown to allow it to be cancelled. AllOff supports all the normal shut down modes plus log off. It can also be used to control a remote computer via a slave program. AllOff is highly configurable allowing most requirements to be catered for. AllOff is part of the JSutils group of software utilities which have a theme of energy saving. Uses of AllOff include unattended backup (shutting down the computer when the backup has completed), enforcing shutdown at a set time, shutting down a computer after a download has finished and shutting down a computer if the user forgets. It can be started via the Windows Task Scheduler, a command line, on start up or manually. AllOff is a great utility for saving energy by making sure a computer shuts down when not needed. The program requires a registration code to run - this can be obtained free for personal non commercial use from the Download page.
